Anneli grew up in a rural town in Sweden. Warm weather and sunny days are not that many. Summer is short, and the remaining of the year is marked by cold, long nights, and indoor living. For an Italian like myself accustomed to seat on sidewalk cafe to watch people stroll by, and engage with friends in various comments and considerations about, let's say ...  people, I would not last too long in Sweden.

To get away from the gloom of winter Anneli invented for herself a show with fire. And so Anneli became a Fire Performer which, she told me, is particularly appreciate in India. For an understanding of the show, one can watch the short video-clip on myspace.
She has an additional skill, I would say a gift: to craft jewelries. In looking ahead in her life, she envisioned this activity as the one central to her professional life.

Anneli is a highly sociable person. If there is something in life which she could not do without, is friend's company. She is always agreeable to sit at the table and chat with the new people. and possibly make a new friend.

I had a long interview with Anneli discussing a variety of subjects such as: happiness, goals in life, courage, shyness, assertiveness, freedom, her elementary school days, the rich and the poor people in the world etc. We, however, did not talk about her family. There was one subject, however, which I perceived to be important for her. She wanted me to know that she was happy for, and proud of her mother. It is a good thing Anneli.
