Glenn Purcell

 

About Glenn. 

Glenn is a quiet person, friendly with everyone, but never loud or imposing when he sat with a group of people. He seemed to be interested on a variety of subjects. On one he was very knowledgeable: films. In any case his focus was on people; their stories, their characters, their life.

We did not talk too much. When we met I would say "hi Glenn", and he would reply "hi Art". In most cases that was it, even when we sat at the same table reading the paper or having a cup of coffee.

In some occasions we had conversations on various subjects, but we never talked about ourselves. It seemed that there was a tacit agreement not to intrude in each other's personal life. I felt at ease with him. I had the feeling that we had known each other, before.
